                   What minecraft players experience

In Minecraft, players explore a blocky world with virtually infinite terrain, and may discover and extract raw materials, craft tools and items, and build structures or eartworks. Depending on game mode, players can fight computer-controlled "mobs", as well as cooperate with or compete against other players in the same world. Game modes include a survival mode, in which players must acquire resources to build the
world and maintain health, and a creative mode, where players have unlimited resources. Players can modify the game
to create new gameplay mechanics, items, and assets. hardcore mode gives you one life only and will not be able to respawn again.

you can change game mode in game by using command " /gamemode creative " to go in creative mode and can also go in survival by command /gamemode survivel

                          Who owns Minecraft now

Microsoft acquired Minecraft maker Mojang nearly six years ago for $2.5 billion, and at the time, it had sold more than 50 million copies across PC, Xbox 360, PS3, and other platforms

How many Minecraft updates are there?

Since then there have been 17 groups of updates, each adding different features to the game. The next 3 updates released were minor, adding a few new features like jungle biomes, desert villages, villagers, and a few miscellaneous blocks. This allowed for more exploration opportunities.
